3-9-12: I know it isn't a Saturday but...
Okay, so sorry that I haven't been posting in like, forever! Life is crazy here right now!! BUT, I did want to share this fun and catching song I came across by a new artist named Daisy Mallory. She is uber talented, and I cannot wait to hear more from her!

2-4-12: Song-filled Saturdays
Are y'all ready for another song-filled Saturday??? I am!!!
This weeks amazing song, is one I heard for the first time last week at my youth group. I absolutely loved it, and then, to my over-joyous shock, it was only 69 cents on itunes!! I was a very happy girl :)
So... here we go...
Song: 10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)
Artist: Matt Redman
Genre: Christian & Gospel
Favorite Lyrics: " And on that day when my strength is failing, the end draws near and my time has come, still my soul will sing Your praise unending, ten thousand years and then forevermore
Why I Love This Song: It is such a wonderful praise and worship song. "Bless the Lord, oh my soul... I worship His Holy Name" the lyrics and the melody just make you want to close your eyes, lift up your hands, and mean every word coming out of your mouth.
But hey, don't take my word for all this, listen for yourself!!

1-28-12: Song-filled Saturdays
Y'all don't know how excited I am this week to share this song with you!!!!!!!
This weeks tune is by this newish band, Kingston. They were formally known as the Carter Twins, but have since changed their name, and sound slightly, but they are still a country band :D
I came across them back in November, after hearing a Christmas song of theirs, but couldn't find any of their music on itunes, other than that song :(. To be honest, I kinda-sorta forgot about them until earlier this week, thinking "I haven't checked to see if they've released any new music yet... hmmm". So, I went to their youtube page, and sure enough!!! There it was, I may have inwardly screamed as I saw it, their new song!!!
So enough of my babbling, here it is!!

Genre: Country
Favorite Lyrics: "I heard it in a song somewhere, you just can't hurry love, but baby if you're out there would you please just hurry up"
Why I Love This Song: There are so many reasons I love this song, and why you should too! lol It is fun, but sensitive, and totally sweet. Can't you imagine this being written out as a letter for your future spouse?? I give it a 5/5 stars.
