Well, my name is Kayla and I LUV writing. Pretty much anything, from fictional novels, to little kid short stories for my cousins(I have 8) and little sibs (I have 4), and then of course blogging! :D (Writing is amazing!)
I also really enjoy horse back riding. I ride once a week at a stable that is only three miles from my house. You'll hear a lot about those rides in my posts. Sometimes they can get interesting... lol
Also, I LUV my youth group!!!!!!!! They rock, my youth pastor rocks, my small group leaders rock, and so does the band. lol
There are seven people in my family. My mom, who has her own blog, http://growing-in-rejoicing.blogspot.com/ my dad, then me I'm the eldest, my brother Gus, my brother Owen, my brother Zeke, and then my little sister Mary.
I'm a very strong Believer in Christ Jesus, and I believe in having a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I love Him SO much, and try in everything I do to make him my everything. :D I'm a total Jesus Freak.
I have a life verse that I found at the beginning of 2010, it is at the top of my blog, but I'll also write it here for you...

I try and share it with as many people as I possibly can. It's just an amazing verse for Christian teens to live by. :D
I also play the harp! Yes, the harp. One of those tall things with a lot of strings. lol I've been playing it for probably 4-5 years or so.
I am home-schooled too, and I really enjoy that because it gives me the freedom to do other things, during the day when other teenagers would normally be in a classroom. Also spending more time with my youngest sibling who is not school age yet. (My three brothers Gus, Owen and Zeke go to a private school)
I also really enjoy photography, but I like to be the person behind the camera, more than the person in front of it. :D Sometimes I'll post pictures of my siblings or just random things I've taken snap shots of and edited on here.

Yes, I just live and breathe horses. Sadly, I do not have one of my own... I really wish I did... but I don't. :'(
Like I mentioned earlier, I really love writing. It's an amazing hobby that I try to escape to several times a day. I've written several books and maybe someday (that is a HUGE maybe) attempt to get them published. Right now I'm working on two co-writes, as well as a personal project that is currently titled, "Kansas", I may someday post some little clips of it and my other works on this blog :)
I've written several others that I've mentioned on the side bar of my blog... there is a list there of all my finished books that I try to update whenever I finish a new book. :)
Alright, I said earlier that I enjoy being the person behind the camera, but my mom was able to snap this picture of me at riding like, two years ago... the horse with me is named Leo. He is a paint and is now seven years old. I luv him to death!!!! He's such an amazing horse and I am SO lucky to be able to ride him. :D

What I've wanted to do with my life has changed pretty constantly these past few years, but currently, I've found myself drawn into the mission field of youth ministry. Yes, I'm still a teen myself, but one day I hope to become a youth pastor. I truly believe this is where God is calling me to go, and so, with His guidance, I hope to achieve just that.
