Who You Are Photoshoot

What is the Who You Are Photoshoot? Well, I'm happy to tell you!

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12

We are God's children, if we choose to receive Him and believe in His holy name, and with that... comes something incredible. The ability to be uniquely His.

When we were first created, God had something wonderful in mind. He didn't want any one of us to be like the other, He wanted each of His children to be unique in their own, special way. Sure, some people may look the same, and sometimes their characteristics are similar, but when it comes down to the heart, we are all different, and unique. And, when we make that choice to become God's child, we become uniquely His.

Amazing right?

Well, as a way to showcase how we are each unique and special, the Who You Are Photoshoot was born. How does it work? Well... keep reading!

Step One: Collect anything and everything that describes you! Photos of loved ones, wrist bands and papers from past life-changing events, your favorite object(s)(ipod, journal, a book, cellphone ect.), the list can go on and on!

Step Two: Wear your favorite outfit! When do you feel confident in yourself the most? For me... 90% of the time it is when I wear an outfit that fits my personality. So, when I did my Who You Are Photoshoot, I wore my all-time favorite outfit. My purple Gap tee, Plaid Gap scarf, and Old Navy jeans with my high-top converse shoes(can't see this but still, important to feel like yourself head to toe!) So, wear whatever makes you feel like you! Weather that be a fancy dress or jeans and a sweatshirt... just make sure it is YOU!

Step Three: Take the pictures! Now, for this, you can do it two ways. Either have a tripod and set a camera timer(or use a remote of your camera has one), or have someone take the pictures for you! Maybe play some of your favorite music to get you smiling YOUR beautiful smile!

Step Four: Make a collage and post it on your blog! Personally, I use www.picmonkey.com and would recommend it to anyone, it is very user-friendly(especially if you used to use picnik), it's free, and has lots of options. Once you are done, post it to your blog and share with your friends who YOU are! (Also, place a link back here to my blog so that everyone who sees your collage will know how to do one too!)

God made you to be a wonderful child of His, and He created you to be unique!  Showcase this with the Who You Are Photoshoot!

Here is my very first Who You Are Photoshoot Collage!
