Hi! Just thought I post since I haven't in a really long time. :D
So yeah, mostly what's goin' on over here is well.... hmmmmmmmmmmm
I finished another book. That's amazing, and of course I started 2 more. :D:D The titles I will release to ya'll later. Don't worry. :-)
I'm still riding, one of the many highlights in my week. Last week I had a sub, she was really nice and of course,(!) I got to ride my baby!! LEO!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D
Youth group is as always, lots and lots of fun. I just love hanging out with my friends and learning more about ways to grow closer to God. (And of course, you can't have youth group without some fun games too right?!?!) It's always fun on youth group nights. :D
Harp is as hard as ever. I've got two songs that I've been working on for awhile and hopefully I'll be able to get some work in the new week or so.
Well yup, that's it. I've gotta go,

2-1-10

Hey Everyone! It's the first day of February! I cannot believe that the first month of 2010 has already sped by... it's just really weird how time can fly.

In this up coming month of February, I've got a lot going on, here are just a few...

*WOW (Youth group rocks!)
*Horse Back Riding (Equally rocks!) (Sometimes literally, lol)
*Harp
*Going up to the cabin!! (Miles and miles of ski trails, yippee!)
*A youth conference w/ some of my bffs

And plenty more, those are just the really exciting stuff. LOL

Also, in this past month of January, I kept myself pretty busy as well.
Those books that I posted earlier about? Well... most of them are either at their half way point or father, I'll continue to keep you updated on them. :D
And... I've also started another book (I know, I'm crazy... but just wait it's a good one) it is the sequel to my book A Guarded Heart! I'm super excited about this book, and am already 11 chapters into it. It's only the first draft, so there is a lot of work going into it at the moment, but... I can just tell it's going to be on my top five favorite books I've ever written list. :D :D :D
Well, that's about it for today, I've gotta go get back to writing! See Yah!

1-28-10: Riding lesson

hey everyone!
Yesterday I had a really, really great riding lesson. Though, I'm a little sore today. lol
I rode Leo, who used to be one of the calmest school horses ever, not so much any more. But, I still love him. lol
So, in my class... there are two other girls at the beginner level. We're the only three home school riders that I know of, so that's why we're all in the same class.
They just started to learn how to trot today, which was pretty exciting for them. :D They both did really great for first time trotting.
I, on the other hand... did sitting trot without my stirrups for probably, all but the last fifteen minutes of my lesson, which I worked on cantering.
Normally, I'm really good at getting my circle right and everything, but yesterday was just a, yeah no.
Normally, when I canter my instructor has the other riders stay at the other end of the arena (half arena circle) and then I stay at my end. But yesterday she had them keep riding, and the first half arena circle was good. But, then they got over there and I got worried, so yeah... the next two circles were not so great, I almost ran over the mount stool, (oops) but I steered him around it quickly. (phew!)
So, after that experience, Jill finally said I could let him have his head (let me walk on the rail) and I was glad. I was kinda getting tried. lol
After dismounting and getting him walked out and groomed, I got all his stuff put away and called my mom to come and pick me up.
She was at the doctor with my little sis for a 18 month well baby check and hadn't quite left yet, so it was going to be awhile until she could come pick me up. So, can you take a guess at what I got to do??? No? BARN CHORES! Yippee! (No seriously, it was way more fun than just waiting 45 minutes for my mom to come and get me)
I got to clean out all the grooming buckets, (I think it was either 12 or 13) and then their brushes (13 times 3... 39 brushes) and then I swept the tack room. I'm pretty sure after all that, Jill (My instructor) didn't mind that my mom was late to get me. lol
