Almost everyone out there reading this knows about HSM (High School Musical)And almost everyone out there enjoyed it. So here is my movie review on HSM.
In this story a girl named Gabriella Montez(Vennessa Ann Hugens) and a boy named Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) meet at a new years eve party at a vacation lodge. Troy is a basket ball boy and Gabriella is a school genius girl. They are picked to sing together and end up cranking up the party when they find the voices they never had. Then when Troy goes back to New Mexico for school and thinks that he has seen the last of his beautiful singing partner, he meets her again in his homeroom class. He calls her on her cell phone and get himself and her in BIG trouble with their teacher Ms. Darbus. Troy, Gabriella, Troy's BF Chad, Ryan and Sharpay Evens and Taylor another smart girl at east high school all get detention for different reasons. After that Troy shows Gabriella around the school and Sharpay gets jealous. Later Troy secretly goes to the auditions for the spring musical to just see what it is like. Gabriella also goes there just to watch. Then the pianist, Kelsi trips and falls after everyone leaves, and feeling sorry for her, the two go help pick up her music sheets. She asks them if they would like to hear how the duet is sapposed to sound and they start singing. Ms. Darbus sneaks back in while their singing, and ends up tells them they have a call back and Sharpay goes crazy! She tells Ms. Darbus that she needs to change the call backs to the same day as Troy's big basket ball game and the same day as the Scolastic dicatholon. She says it would be better for everyone. Ms Darbus gives in and now, Troy and Gabriella go crazy! How will they ever get do all the things they need to do if they are all on the same day at the same time?! Watch the movie and find out! This movie is rated G and I rate it AA for all ages

10-5-09: My Thoughts Column! Debute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My Thoughts.......On youth mission trips
As many of you know, I've gone on two youth mission trips with my church youth group. They are amazing, not only do you get to serve others, you get to worship the Lord, be surrounded by other people who love God just like you, and you get to become really close with all of your friends.
This past mission trip nine of us youth went, and three adults. One being my youth Pastor, the others being one of my guy friends parents (His mom being my small group leader).
The car rides are probably my favorite part of the mission trips. It was about a six hour drive from our church parking lot, to the church where we'd all be stayin' for the next week. :D (here comes a funny part) We had all our luggage in the back of our twelve passenger van, it came up to just about the same height as the back seat. And apparently to the guys in our group, it was very comfortable. We took mostly back roads, and some county roads, but they were never very busy. When we were on these roads, our youth pastor would let us un buckle and then the guys of course, would all cram into the back and all us girls (Five of us, four guys) would cram into the back seat, rear facing.
We sit and talk for hours on end and the conversations will always be on my mind. We're all really close now, it's amazing what a simple car ride, and a simple five day mission trip will do to you. We'd work from nine in the morning to four in the afternoon. Serving others is so amazing, and when you get to do it along side of your close friends, it's fun! You joke around, get dirty and just have a blast with each other. You meet new people and make friendships that will last a life time.
So let's see, for one week out of your summer you sign up for a mission trip. What will you probably be doing is laughing and having a great time with friends, worshiping God in a place that is so amazingly perfect, getting to meet new friends. Is that so bad? NO! It's amazing! (I use this word a lot) So, I definatly say to all my readers out there, take just one week... one week off of your summer vacation and spend it serving God, I can promise you, you will have fun.
So, that's all for this week, come back next week for the topic, My Thoughts.......On The video, LIFE=RISK
